Our Legacy of Giving

The Media Food Bank @ First Church was founded by 1995 by Marion Ergang, who began collecting food donations and offering them to anyone in need on a weekly basis. Over the years, the Food Bank continued to serve the community, providing food and essential items to those facing food insecurity.

In 2020, to COVID-19 pandemic led to a significant increase in the need for food assistance, sparking an outpouring of donations and deepening the Food Bank's commitment to its mission.
